How to check the number of pages the Brother machine has printed and copied

You can see the machine’s Page Counters for copies, printed pages, reports and lists, faxes (only for applicable machines) or a summary total.

*If your Brother machine has a touchscreen, please follow the steps under “For touchscreen models” below.

Press Menu.
Press the Up or Down Arrow key to choose Machine Info. and press OK.
Press the Up or Down Arrow key to choose Page Counter and press OK.
Press the Up or Down Arrow key to see the number of pages for:
Total: Summary of all printed pages
Fax/List: Received faxes and internal reports (for machines with fax function)
– or –
List: Internal reports (for machines without fax function)
Copy: Total number of copies
Print: Documents printed from the computer and using the Direct Print feature (only for applicable machines)
Press OK to see the page counters for Color and Black & White.
Press Stop/Exit.

<For models touchscreen>

Press Menu on the LCD screen.
Press the Up or Down Arrow key to display Machine Info.. Press Machine Info..
Press Page Counter. The LCD shows the number of pages for:
Total: Summary of all printed pages
Fax/List: Received faxes and internal reports (for machines with fax function)
– or –
List: Internal reports (for machines without fax function)
Copy: Total number of copies
Print: Documents printed from the computer and using the Direct Print feature (only for applicable machines)
